Care Instructions
Our mission is to create high-quality leather items that can be worn and used for years. Leather is a natural material that lives and therefore must be treated with love and care. We want to help you take care of your leather items so that you can enjoy them for a long time.
Each leather has its own characteristics and lifecycle. Therefore, each leather needs its own care and treatment.
FOLLOW OUR 5 STEPS
- Keep it clean: Regularly wipe your vintage leather with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and dust. For stains or spots, use a damp cloth and mild soap, but be careful not to soak the leather.
- Avoid water: Leather is often more delicate and prone to damage from water, so try to keep it dry. If it does get wet, gently blot the excess moisture with a dry cloth and then let it air dry.
- Condition the leather: Vintage leather can become dry and brittle over time, so it's important to condition it regularly to keep it supple. Use a high-quality leather conditioner that's appropriate for the type of leather you have and follow the instructions carefully.
- Store it properly: When not in use, store your vintage leather in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't keep it in plastic or airtight containers, as this can trap moisture and damage the leather.
- Handle with care: Vintage leather can be more fragile than newer leather, so be gentle when handling it. Avoid pulling or tugging on straps or handles, and don't overload bags or purses.
