Unisex, oversize pieces, designed and handmade in Bali.
Nanou started in December 2022 in Bali, with a few handmade leather bags cut from fabrics we couldn’t stop thinking about. “Nanou” is the nickname of our founder, Morgane, a French designer who made Bali her home.
Today, Nanou is a full wardrobe: bags, shirts, tees, shorts and accessories. Every piece is unisex and cut oversize. Relaxed shapes, with a structured edge where it counts: a boxy shirt, a sharp bucket bag, a cap stitched with our script logo.
TWO COLLECTIONS A YEAR
We release a Spring-Summer and an Autumn-Winter collection. Each one builds on the last. Our signatures stay — the Triangle, Circle and Romy bags, our gingham Vichy — and new pieces join them. Nothing here is made to last one month.
MADE IN OUR BALI ATELIER
Every piece is cut and sewn by hand in our Balinese workshop, by artisans working in a fair and respectful environment. Many of our fabrics are handpicked in small shops across the island. We produce in small quantities: we make what we sell, not what we hope to sell.
